Saturday Night Late Model

  • Open (4") flexi chassis. No retro or wire chassis allowed, no wing car chassis. You can open the chassis axle holes to make them level. Weights and/or vibration-dampening tape may be attached to the top side of the chassis as desired. Chassis may not be otherwise altered or modified other than typical flattening and straightening.
  • The maximum rear track width is 3.25”
  • Minimum track clearance under the chassis at the rear of the motor box and under the spur gear, is .047
  • MID611 Mid America GRC/Stomp motor only. Can must not be opened or modified in any way. Signs of tampering will cause failure during tech inspection
  • Open gear ratio, any pitch is allowed
  • Any commercially available Dirt Outlaw/Late Model body is allowed. Bodies may be trimmed only for appropriate tire and track clearance but cannot be trimmed above the factory cut line. Rear of the body may be opened in an effort to reduce body tuck, but rear the fender must be retained. Bodies may be reinforced with tape and/or Lexan body armor. Front tires or front wheel stickers are mandatory. Any obscure body pulled out of the woodwork that does not meet the spirit of the rules, or presents an unfair advantage, as determined by the race director, will not be allowed. Open wheel asphalt modified style bodies are not allowed
  • Interiors are optional
  • Bushings or bearings are allowed for the rear axle
  • Any guide flag is allowed. Guide spacers are allowed. Cut down guide flags are allowed
  • Any guide wire is allowed
  • Any braid type is allowed
  • Open tire, no drilled hubs
